可以跨省交两份社保么

异地跨省可以办理两份社保。目前社保还没有全国联网，不在同一地区工作，可以在新工作地区重新办理社保缴费帐户，将来可以迁移社保帐户合并，并不影响累计缴费年限。社保是指一种为丧失劳动能力、暂时失去劳动岗位或因健康原因造成损失的人口提供收入或补偿的一种社会和经济制度。
法律依据：《中华人民共和国社会保险法》 第十九条 个人跨统筹地区就业的，其基本养老保险关系随本人转移，缴费年限累计计算。个人达到法定退休年龄时，基本养老金分段计算、统一支付。具体办法由国务院规定。
