释义	依照法律规定，同居关系并不受法律保护，因此同居双方是不能相互继承遗产的。但是如果被继承人生前主要是由同居的另一方在扶养，此时，该方可以作为继承人以外的对被继承人扶养较多的人主张分给适当的遗产，但一般不会分得太多。法律依据《中华人民共和国民法典》第一千一百三十一条对继承人以外的依靠被继承人扶养的人，或者继承人以外的对被继承人扶养较多的人，可以分给适当的遗产。第一千零六十一条夫妻有相互继承遗产的权利。
