释义	谅解书可以抵消累犯的罪行吗基本上是没有用的，累犯一般是从重处罚。这个从理论上来讲，基本是没有太大的意义的，对累犯作用不大,因为累犯是法定从重情节,而谅解书只是酌定从轻情节,对有前科的作用一般,一个酌定从轻,一个是酌定从重。两者很难相互抵消的，累犯从重处罚是法律的硬性规定，法官在判刑的时候是必须要首要考虑的，至于谅解书，只能是从情理上减轻一定刑期，不会太长。
