如果摄像头是公司为了管理统一安装，这一行为本身并不必然构成对员工隐私权的侵犯，但是一个重要的前提条件，必须向员工明确、明示告知，保证员工知情权。但是如果摄像头是管理部门个别人员为了某些目的私自安装，这种行为侵犯了职工的隐私权，是非法的。
法律依据：
《中华人民共和国民法典》 第一千零三十二条 自然人享有隐私权。任何组织或者个人不得以刺探、侵扰、泄露、公开等方式侵害他人的隐私权。隐私是自然人的私人生活安宁和不愿为他人知晓的私密空间、私密活动、私密信息。
