释义	法律分析：贷款人在提供贷款时不能预先将利息从本金中扣除。借款利息一般是在借款期限届满时或者合同履行期间按照约定分批偿付给贷款人。但现实中有的贷款人为了确保利息的收回，在提供借款时就将利息从本金中扣除，造成借款人借到的本金实质上为扣除利息后的数额。法律依据：《中华人民共和国民法典》第六百七十条借款的利息不得预先在本金中扣除。利息预先在本金中扣除的，应当按照实际借款数额返还借款并计算利息。
