释义	利用计算机信息网络传播淫秽信息的，处十日以上十五日以下拘留，可以并处三千元以下罚款；情节较轻的，处五日以下拘留或者五百元以下罚款。利用计算机信息网络传播淫秽信息，是指利用即时通信软件、论坛、博客、微博、电子邮件等，通过文字、图片、音频、视频等方式致使淫秽信息流传的行为。传播必须是故意地进行传播，即明知是淫秽内容的信息而有意传播给他人，既包括直接实施的传播行为，也包括明知淫秽电子信息在自己所有、管理或者使用的网络媒介上传播但予以放任的行为。法律依据《中华人民共和国刑法》第二百八十六条
