释义	欠条只要是双方当事人真实的意思表示，欠条是不会失效的，但是权利人到法院起诉的有效期是三年。即诉讼时效的时间为三年。《中华人民共和国民法总则》第一百八十八条规定“向人民法院请求保护民事权利的诉讼时效期间为三年，法律另有规定的除外。”打欠条的时候应该注意的事项如下：(一)欠条应当注明出借币种、出借日期、还款日期、利息计算方法;(二)欠条应注明借款人身份资料;(三)欠条约定管辖便于提交诉讼效率，减少诉讼成本;(四)书写要清楚;(五)还款时一定要索回欠条。
