释义	法律分析：对于党员干部双规的最高期限一般为六个月，因为特殊原因可以延长，最长不得超过一年。双规可以适用所有涉及违纪案件的当事人，适用党员，同时还特别要求被采取“双规”的党员必须立案。法律依据：《中华人民共和国行政监察法》第三十三条监察机关立案调查的案件，应当自立案之日起六个月内结案；因特殊原因需要延长办案期限的，可以适当延长，但是最长不得超过一年，并应当报上一级监察机关备案。
