释义	口罩并不是单位必须要提供的劳动防护用品，员工不能以单位不提供口罩为由，拒绝上班。《安全生产法》第四十二条规定，生产经营单位必须为从业人员提供符合国家标准或者行业标准的劳动防护用品，并监督、教育从业人员按照使用规则佩戴、使用。但对一般企业而言，口罩并不是单位必须要提供的劳动防护用品。员工不能以单位不提供口罩为由，拒绝上班。但在特殊时期为员工提供口罩，充分体现了企业对员工的关怀，建议有条件的企业可以为员工准备些口罩。该内容由张胜云律师和律说律答共创回答
