问题	私人扣押驾驶证怎样处置？
释义	驾驶证被公安交管部门以外的任何单位或者个人非法扣留，驾驶人知可以向公安机关报案，由公安部门协助追回。也可以直接到公安交管部门车管所办理遗失补领手续，驾驶人补领驾驶证后，原驾驶证失效，不能使用。他人非法扣留驾驶证证件的，由公安机关交通管理部门处二百元以上二千元以下罚款。法律依据: 《中华人民共和国道路交通安全法》第九十九条未取得机动车驾驶证、机动车驾驶证被吊销或者机动车驾驶证被暂扣期间驾驶机动车的处二百元以上二千元以下罚款，可以并处十五日以下拘捕。
