缺席判决就是输吗
释义
法律分析：当事人不到庭，很不利于维护自己的合法权益，法院会默认你放弃诉讼权利，如时效抗辩、质证权等等，并导致败诉。现实中，有不少案件缺席判决后，缺席的当事人对判决结果不服，这时才意识到，由于未及时到庭参加诉讼，而给自己带来不利的后果。一审不到庭，判决后再上诉，这也给自己及其他当事人制造了诉累。
法律依据：《中华人民共和国民事诉讼法》第一百四十四条 缺席审判被告经传票传唤，无正当理由拒不到庭的，或者未经法庭许可中途退庭的，可以缺席判决。
