孩子到18岁可以改姓吗？
释义
姓名变更。学龄前儿童姓名变更可口头申请，由民警自己掌握。 10 周岁以上儿童应征得本人同意，成年人由自己提出书面申请。上学后至 16 周岁的公民要变更姓名，由派出所长审批。 16 周岁以后，须由本人提出书面申请并持有效证明材料报公安机关审批。依法被剥夺政治权利和正受刑事处罚和劳动教养者，不得变更姓名。公民依法变更姓名后，原姓名作为“曾用名”备查。
法律依据：
《中华人民共和国户口登记条例》 第十八条 十八周岁以上的人需要变更姓名的时候，由本人向户口登记机关申请变更登记。
