释义	法律分析：不是必须的。公证不是赡养协议生效的条件，只要符合双方真实意思表示，不违反法律规定，就具有法律效力。但是如果进行公证的话，效力会更高一些。经公证的民事法律行为、有法律意义的事实和文书，应当作为认定事实的根据，但有相反证据足以推翻该项公证的除外。法律依据：《中华人民共和国民法典》第二十六条父母对未成年子女负有抚养、教育和保护的义务。成年子女对父母负有赡养、扶助和保护的义务。
