每日不能超过八小时。
根据《劳动部办公厅关于印发《关于＜劳动法＞若干条文的说明》的通知》第三十六条
国家实行劳动者每日工作时间不超过八小时、平均每周工作时间不超过四十四小时的工时制度。根据《国务院关于职工工作时间的规定》，目前，职工的标准工作时间为每日工作八小时，平均每周工作四十四小时。
但企业可以根据实际情况，在标准工作时间范围内合理安排生产和劳动时间。但每日不能超过八小时，平均每周不能超过四十四小时。
一、延长工作时间的例外
《劳动法》第四十二条有下列情形之一的，延长工作时间不受本法第四十一条规定的限制：
（一）发生自然灾害、事故或者因其他原因，威胁劳动者生命健康和财产安全，需要紧急处理的；
（二）生产设备、交通运输线路、公共设施发生故障，影响生产和公众利益，必须及时抢修的；
（三）法律、行政法规规定的其他情形。
第四十三条用人单位不得违反本法规定延长劳动者的工作时间。
二、延长劳动者工作时间的法律责任
第九十条用人单位违反本法规定，延长劳动者工作时间的，由劳动行政部门给予警告，责令改正，并可以处以罚款。
