支票的有效期是10天，从签发日算起，日期首尾算一天，节假日顺延，如果最后一天是假日就顺延到最近的一个工作日，如最后一天是周日就顺延到周一。遇到法定假日，休息几天顺延几天。

《中华人民共和国票据法》 第八十一条 支票是出票人签发的，委托办理支票存款业务的银行或者其他金融机构在见票时无条件支付确定的金额给收款人或者持票人的票据。
