释义	法律分析: 租房所交纳的押金，在解除房屋租赁合同时，可以要求退还，但如果合同未到期，提前解除合同的，需要向出租人支付违约金或者赔偿损失，合同签了的话，不到期，是不能退房的。合同是当事人或当事双方之间设立、变更、终止民事关系的协议，依法成立的合同，受法律保护。法律依据: 《中华人民共和国民法典》第五百八十八条当事人既约定违约金，又约定定金的，一方违约时，对方可以选择适用违约金或者定金条款。定金不足以弥补一方违约造成的损失的，对方可以请求赔偿超过定金数额的损失。
