释义	法律分析：一般不能。由于离婚案件涉及到人身关系的解除，应当慎重考虑。且在判决离婚时需要考虑双方感情是否确已破裂，需要当事人双方共同参与举证。因此，一般情况下离婚诉讼中当事人应当出庭，若本人不能表达意思（如精神疾病）可不出庭，或其他特殊情况的（如出国不能到庭）应当向法院提交书面意见进行说明。法律依据：《中华人民共和国民事诉讼法》第六十二条离婚案件有诉讼代理人的，本人除不能表达意思的以外，仍应出庭；确因特殊情况无法出庭的，必须向人民法院提交书面意见。
