释义	根据《婚姻法》第十一条的规定，因胁迫结婚的，受胁迫的一方可以向婚姻登记机关或人民法院请求撤销该婚姻。依据本条的规定，可撤销婚姻的唯一撤销原因是胁迫。因胁迫而结婚，主要是指婚姻关系中的一方当事人或者婚姻关系之外的第三人，对婚姻关系中的另一方当事人，予以威胁或者强迫，使婚姻中的另一方当事人违背自己的意愿而缔结婚姻关系的婚姻。胁迫婚姻违反了结婚须男女双方完全自愿的原则，是违法婚姻。因胁迫结婚的，受胁迫的一方可以向婚姻登记机关或人民法院请求撤销该婚姻。
