结婚登记需要开证明信吗

不需要。中国公民在中国境内申请结婚必须双方亲自到一方户口所在地的婚姻登记机关申请结婚登记，申请时，应当持下列证件和证明：
(1)户口证明；
(2)居民身份证；
(3)所在单位、村民委员会或者居民委员会出具的婚姻状况证明。

《中华人民共和国民法典》 第一千零四十六条 结婚应当男女双方完全自愿，禁止任何一方对另一方加以强迫，禁止任何组织或者个人加以干涉。
