释义	子女放弃继承遗产后，没有公证有效。公证并不是放弃遗产继承的生效要件。放弃遗产继承的，只需继承人在继承开始后，遗产处理前，以书面形式作出放弃继承的表示即可。《民法典》第一千一百二十四条规定，继承开始后，继承人放弃继承的，应当在遗产处理前，以书面形式作出放弃继承的表示；没有表示的，视为接受继承。受遗赠人应当在知道，受遗赠后六十日内，作出接受或者放弃，受遗赠的表示；到期没有表示的，视为放弃受遗赠。法律依据: 《中华人民共和国民法典》第一千一百二十四条。
