释义	离婚手续不是一定要到婚姻登记当地办理。法律规定，内地居民结婚，男女双方应当共同到一方当事人常住户口所在地的婚姻登记机关办理结婚登记。所以双方当事人选择在任意一方户口所在地办理离婚手续的行为都是合法有效的。法律依据: 《民法典》第一千零七十六条夫妻双方自愿离婚的，应当签订书面离婚协议，并亲自到婚姻登记机关申请离婚登记。离婚协议应当载明双方自愿离婚的意思表示和对子女抚养、财产以及债务处理等事项协商一致的意见。第一千零八十条完成离婚登记，或者离婚判决书、调解书生效，即解除婚姻关系。
