释义	法律分析：停止执行职务和禁闭，是为制止、查处人民警察严重违法违纪行为，预防事故，对违反纪律的人民警察在必要时采取的行政措施。法律依据；《公安机关督察条例》第十二条督察机构认为公安机关人民警察违反纪律需要采取停止执行职务、禁闭措施的，由督察机构作出决定，报本级公安机关督察长批准后执行。停止执行职务的期限为10日以上60日以下；禁闭的期限为1日以上7日以下。
