释义	“补充协议”或者称为“协议补充”，是指当事人对于合同中的内容没有约定或者约定不明确的，而达成的协议。“补充协议”是相对于已经存在的合同而言的，“协议补充”就是通过协议方式补充已经存在的合同中存在的漏洞。因此，已经存在的合同与“补充协议”之间是主从关系。已经存在的合同是主合同，“补充协议”是从合同。原合同终止了，双方之间就不存在合同关系，也就谈不上补充与不补充了。补充协议是必须有主合同的存在下才会存在。法律依据《中华人民共和国民法典》第五百一十条、第五百一十一条
