到达主义是指《民法典》中规定承诺何时生效的一种方式。即当受要约人向要约人发出的有效承诺到达要约人时，承诺生效。
一、迟延承诺需要承担哪些法律后果
迟延承诺需要承担以下法律后果：
1、受要约人超过承诺期限发出承诺的，为新要约，原要约失效；
2、受要约人在承诺期限内发出承诺，按照通常情形能够及时到达要约人，但是因其他原因致使承诺到达要约人时超过承诺期限的，承诺有效，合同自承诺生效时成立。
二、承诺迟到的法律后果是什么？
对于承诺迟到的法律后果：受要约人超过承诺期限发出承诺的，除要约人及时通知受要约人该承诺有效的以外，为新要约。
受要约人在承诺期限内发出承诺，按照通常情形能够及时到达要约人，但因其他原因承诺到达要约人时超过承诺期限的；
除要约人及时通知受要约人因承诺超过期限不接受该承诺的以外，该承诺有效。
三、订立合同时的承诺包括哪些内容？
1.订立合同时承诺的构成要件：承诺只能由受要约人向要约人作出；承诺必须在有效期限内作出。要约没有确定承诺期限的，承诺应当依照下列规定到达：（一）要约以对话方式作出的，应当即时作出承诺，但当事人另有约定的除外；（二）要约以非对话方式作出的，承诺应当在合理期限内到达。
