释义	法律分析：违法，装修把墙砸薄了不合法,因为有些墙,特别是砖混结构的墙,都是受力的承重墙,如果把墙砸薄了,会削弱墙体承载力,无形当中降低了房屋结构的安全性,所以不能砸墙变薄,若有违反墙体需要恢复或补强。法律依据：《中华人民共和国民法典》第一千一百六十五条行为人因过错侵害他人民事权益造成损害的，应当承担侵权责任。依照法律规定推定行为人有过错，其不能证明自己没有过错的，应当承担侵权责任。
