释义	法律分析：1、违法。老师对于违反纪律的学生罚抄属于变相体罚。学生可向学校领导和教育部门投诉反映，由其所在单位或者上级机关责令改正;情节严重的，依法给予处分。 2、法律依据：《中华人民共和国教师法》第三十七条，教师有下列情形之一的，由所在学校、其他教育机构或者教育行政部门给予行政处分或者解聘：故意不完成教育教学任务给教育教学工作造成损失的; 体罚学生，经教育不改的; 品行不良、侮辱学生，影响恶劣的。教师前款第(二)项、第(三)项所列情形之一，情节严重，构成犯罪的，依法追究刑事责任。
