释义	法律分析： 1米的长度最初定义为通过巴黎的子午线上从地球赤道到北极点的距离的千万分之一,并与随后确定了国际米原器。随着人们对度量衡学的认识加深,米的长度的定义几经修改。1983年起,米的长度被定义为“光在真空中于1/299 792 458秒内行进的距离”。法律依据：《中华人民共和国标准化法》第十一条对满足基础通用、与强制性国家标准配套、对各有关行业起引领作用等需要的技术要求，可以制定推荐性国家标准。推荐性国家标准由国务院标准化行政主管部门制定。
