释义	违法。尽管出轨行为有违社会公德，但是我们在处理时也不能采用过激的办法。殴打他人轻则触犯《治安处罚法》，面临行政拘留，重则触犯《刑法》，面临刑事拘留。法律依据《治安管理处罚法》第四十三条殴打他人的，或者故意伤害他人身体的，处五日以上十日以下拘留，并处二百元以上五百元以下罚款；情节较轻的，处五日以下拘留或者五百元以下罚款。
