释义	诉讼时效中断，也称追诉时效的更新，是指在时效进行期间，因发生法律规定的事由，而使以前所经过的时效期间归于无效，法律规定的事由终了之时，时效重新开始计算。【法律依据】《刑法》第八十九条，追诉期限的计算与中断，追诉期限从犯罪之日起计算；犯罪行为有连续或者继续状态的，从犯罪行为终了之日起计算。在追诉期限以内又犯罪的，前罪追诉的期限从犯后罪之日起计算。
