释义	法律分析：保证方式分为两种，一种是一般保证，另一种是连带保证。1、约定了在债务人不能履行债务时，才由保证人承担责任的，是一般保证。2、如果担保合同中没约定或约定不明，则为连带保证。即债权人可以选择起诉债务人，也可以起诉保证人。法律依据：《中华人民共和国民法典》第六百八十六条保证的方式包括一般保证和连带责任保证。
