释义	在研究开发过程中，当事人一方发现可能导致研究开发失败或者部分失败的情况时，应当及时通知另一方并采取措施减少损失。民法典明确规定这是技术开发合同当事人的义务。如果当事人未能及时通知对方当事人，也未能及时采取措施，制止损失的扩大，应当就扩大的损失承担责任。
