释义	一方因为赌博欠下的债务并不属于夫妻共同债务。首先，赌债属于夫妻一方因个人不合理开支形成的债务而非夫妻共同债务，并且赌博属于违法行为，因此赌债属于非法债务，法律对此是不予保护的。其次，由于赌债不属于夫妻共同债务，所以离婚后另一方无需偿还。但是必须要有充足的证据证明该债务属于赌债，否则仍有承担该债务的风险。【法律依据】《最高人民法院关于人民法院审理借贷案件的若干意见》第十一条规定，出借人明知借款人是为了进行非法活动而借款的，其借贷关系不予保护。
