释义	法律分析：被告没有出庭或者中途退庭,法院完全可以作出缺席判决。但值得注意的是,对于必须到庭的被告,经人民法院两次传票传唤,无无正当理由拒不到庭的,人民法院可以根据民事诉讼法的有关规定对其采取拘传的强制措施。必须到庭的被告,一般是指追索赡养费、抚养费、抚育费、抚恤金、劳动报酬和离婚案件的被告,以及其他不到庭就无法查清案情的被告。法律依据：《民事诉讼法》第144条被告经传票传唤,无正当理由拒不到庭的,或者未经法庭许可中途退庭的,可以缺席判决。
