释义	国家规章的参军年龄是十八周岁，但是就我国现在的情况来说，只要年满十六周岁就可以当兵。参军的年龄的限制，具体如下：男青年为年满18岁至20岁，高中毕业以上文化程度的青年，企业事业单位职工，可放宽到21岁，大专以上文化程度的可放宽到22岁，对大学本科应届毕业生，只要本人自愿参军的，可放宽到23岁。为适应部队建设需要，根据本人自愿，可征集部分满17岁的应届高中（含职高、中专、技校）毕业的男青年入伍。女青年为年满18至19岁，根据部队建设需要和本人自愿，可以征集部分年满17岁的女青年。
