释义	法律分析：女婿不赡养岳父母不违法，法律并没有规定女婿一定要赡养岳父母。《民法典》仅仅是规定了成年子女有在父母缺乏劳动能力或者生活困难的情况下赡养的义务。因此女婿不赡养岳父母并不违反法律。但是丧偶女婿对岳父母尽了主要赡养义务的，可以继承岳父母的遗产。法律依据：《中华人民共和国民法典》第一千零六十七条父母不履行抚养义务的，未成年子女或者不能独立生活的成年子女，有要求父母给付抚养费的权利。成年子女不履行赡养义务的，缺乏劳动能力或者生活困难的父母，有要求成年子女给付赡养费的权利。
