释义	吸毒人员是不能做保安的，保安工作对从事人员有品德和违法犯罪方面的要求，被行政处罚或者刑事处罚的人不能当保安。法律依据：《保安服务管理条例》第十七条有下列情形之一的，不得担任保安员： (一)曾被收容教育、强制隔离戒毒、劳动教养或者3次以上行政拘留的; (二)曾因故意犯罪被刑事处罚的; (三)被吊销保安员证未满3年的; (四)曾两次被吊销保安员证的。
