释义	按照《兵役法》规定，我国年满18周岁的青年均有服兵役的义务，义务兵的服役期为两年，两年期满后，可根据个人意愿以及部队建设需要，选择转士官或者退役。也就是说，正常的服兵役只需要两年法律依据：《中华人民共和国兵役法》第十八条义务兵服现役的期限为二年。第十九条义务兵服现役期满，根据军队需要和本人自愿，经团级以上单位批准，可以改为志愿兵。
