儿子去世了儿媳妇有赡养义务吗

儿媳与公婆的关系是因为婚姻而成立的姻亲关系，儿子去世后，因媳妇与儿子的夫妻关系消灭而使得儿媳与公婆的姻亲关系消灭。
因此，强制要求儿媳在儿子死亡后承担赡养公婆义务，因其行为缺乏法律依据而得不到相应的支持。
法律依据：《中华人民共和国民法典》 第一千零六十七条 父母不履行抚养义务的，未成年子女或者不能独立生活的成年子女，有要求父母给付抚养费的权利。成年子女不履行赡养义务的，缺乏劳动能力或者生活困难的父母，有要求成年子女给付赡养费的权利。
