释义	法律分析：婚姻关系存续期间一方因赌博所欠的债务离婚的时候另一方没有帮助其偿还的法定义务，因为赌债本身就不受到法律保护，所以在离婚的时候自然也不会被列入夫妻共同债务的范围当中。对于丈夫或者妻子来说，有连带偿还义务的只能是夫妻共同债务，而赌债并不是夫妻共同债务。法律依据：《中华人民共和国民法典》第一千零八十九条离婚时，夫妻共同债务应当共同偿还。共同财产不足清偿或者财产归各自所有的，由双方协议清偿；协议不成的，由人民法院判决。
