释义	法律分析：不违法，借钱给赌徒不算犯罪，因为中国实行的是罪刑法定原则，现在法律没有资助赌博罪或赌博借贷罪。但明知其用于赌博而出借资金，违背了公序良俗原则，也扰乱了社会治安管理秩序，应当认定为违法借贷关系，不受法律保护，在债务人赖账时无法主张债权。法律依据：《中华人民共和国治安管理处罚法》第七十条以营利为目的,为赌博提供条件的,或者参与赌博赌资较大的,处5日以下拘留或者500元以下罚款;情节严重的,处10日以上15日以下拘留,并处500元以上3000元以下罚款。
