释义	再保险亦称"分保"。保险人在原保险合同的基础上，通过签订分保合同，将其所承保的部分风险和责任向其他保险人进行保险的行为。再保险的基础是原保险，再保险的产生，正是基于原保险人经营中分散风险的需要。【法律依据】《保险法》第二十八条，保险人将其承担的保险业务，以分保形式部分转移给其他保险人的，为再保险。应再保险接受人的要求，再保险分出人应当将其自负责任及原保险的有关情况书面告知再保险接受人。
