释义	媳妇不属于男方父母法定的赡养人，所以媳妇没有法定义务赡养公婆，但是有辅助男方赡养老人的义务，辅助赡养义务不等于法定赡养义务。法律依据：根据《中华人民共和国民法典》第一千零六十七条规定：成年子女不履行赡养义务的，缺乏劳动能力或者生活困难的父母，有要求成年子女给付赡养费的权利。
