私人录音是否属于违法吗？

不经过本人同意，没有侵犯他人隐私的录音是合法有效的。根据我国相关法律规定，由当事人互相质证，并在法庭上出示。证据应该保密的是涉及国家秘密、商业秘密和个人隐私的，需要在法庭出示的，不得在公开开庭时出示。以下行为是侵犯隐私权范畴：非法搜查、入侵他人住宅；非法跟踪他人，安装窃听设备、监视他人住所等。
