释义	法律分析：专利维持是指在专利法定保护期内，专利权人依法向专利行政部门缴纳规定数量维持费使得专利继续有效的过程。专利维持时间是指专利从申请日或者授权之日至无效、终止、撤销或届满之日的实际时间。法律依据：《中华人民共和国专利法》第四十三条专利权人应当自被授予专利权的当年开始缴纳年费。第四十四条有下列情形之一的，专利权在期限届满前终止：（一）没有按照规定缴纳年费的；（二）专利权人以书面声明放弃其专利权的。专利权在期限届满前终止的，由国务院专利行政部门登记和公告。
