法律分析：
提前半个月通知用人单位解除劳动合同并不违法。如果跟用人单位协商好，用人单位同意你提前离职，那么就是合法的。即使用人单位不同意，那么再等15天之后就可以离职了。
法律依据：
《劳动合同法》第三十六条
用人单位与劳动者协商一致，可以解除劳动合同。
《劳动合同法》第三十七条 劳动者提前通知解除劳动合同
劳动者提前三十日以书面形式通知用人单位，可以解除劳动合同。劳动者在试用期内提前三日通知用人单位，可以解除劳动合同。
