释义	法律分析：单纯的同居是不犯法的。男女如果没有办理结婚登记手续，而共同生活在一起的话，那么属于同居关系，此时是不会受到法律保护的。但是如果一方是已婚并且处于婚姻存续期间而以夫妻名义进行公开同居的话，是要承担法律责任的，即重婚罪。法律依据：《中华人民共和国刑法》第二百五十八条有配偶而重婚的，或者明知他人有配偶而与之结婚的，处二年以下有期徒刑或者拘役。
