释义	法律分析：产品责任保险是指以产品制造者、销售者、维修者等的产品责任为承保风险的一种责任保险。所谓产品责任，是指产品在使用过程中因其缺陷而造成用户、消费者或公众的人身伤亡或财产损失时，依法应当由产品供给方（包括制造者、销售者、修理者等）承担的民事损害赔偿责任。法律依据：《中华人民共和国产品质量法》第四十二条由于销售者的过错使产品存在缺陷，造成人身、他人财产损害的，销售者应当承担赔偿责任。销售者不能指明缺陷产品的生产者也不能指明缺陷产品的供货者的，销售者应当承担赔偿责任。
