生证明没女方户口本不能办。
办理出生证明，只有带上男女双方的户口本和身份证，去医院新生儿出生证办理点才可以。自填单一般有以下内容：父母姓名、身份证号、民族、婴儿姓名、婴儿申报户口地址、母亲居住地址、床位号等。如果刚住院时还没想好宝宝的名字，可以先用小名代替（一般情况下医院多填写某某之子，之女字样）。
办理出生证明公证需要以下材料：
1、没有出境的：申请人的身份证、户口；近期的二寸彩色免冠照片；单位人事部门（街道办事处）出具的《出生证明表》；
2、已经出境的：申请人的身份证、户口、护照的复印件；单位人事部门（街道办事处）出具的《出生证明表》。
出生证明必须要父母双方的户口本。办理证明时应带上户口本、双方身份证、夫妻双方的初婚初育证明(可让工作单位或所在居委会开具证明)，到街道办事处办理准生证。在办理孩子的出生证明之前，医院一般都提前录取了宝爸宝妈的身份信息，带齐了证件去制定的地方科室按照办理流程进行办理就可以。
出生证明的作用：
1、证明在中华人民共和国境内的出生人口出生时的健康及自然状况；
2、证明出生人口的血亲关系；
3、作为新生儿获得国籍的医学依据；
4、作为户籍登记机关进行出生人口登记的医学依据；
5、作为新生儿依法获得保健服务的凭证；
6、为其他必须以《出生医学证明》为有效期限的事项提供依据。

《出生医学证明管理形式》第九条
《出生医学证明》的管理和使用单位应建立证件的出、入登记制度，补发和报废登记制度，并建立台账进行管理和备查。各省、自治区、直辖市按照严格管理、方便群众的原则对本省发放程序制定具体规定。
