释义	法律分析：累犯，是指受过一定的刑罚处罚，刑罚执行完毕或者赦免以后，在法定期限内又犯被判处一定的刑罚之罪的罪犯。法律依据：《中华人民共和国刑法》第六十五条被判处有期徒刑以上刑罚的犯罪分子，刑罚执行完毕或者赦免以后，在五年以内再犯应当判处有期徒刑以上刑罚之罪的，是累犯，即一般累犯。第六十六条危害国家安全的犯罪分子在刑罚执行完毕或者赦免以后，在任何时候再犯危害国家安全罪的，都以累犯论处。
