释义	法律分析：身份证过期了办理一般需要重新拍照。身份证过期意味着至少过了五年以后甚至过了十年。本人和多年前照片会有一些出入,例如变胖变瘦,变样或整容等改变。因此一般过期补办身份证都会要求重拍照片。法律依据：《中华人民共和国居民身份证条例实施细则》第十九条凡申报换领、补领新证的，需重新填写《常住人口登记表》，交近期标准相片两张。申报换领新证的，户口登记机关发给新证的同时收回旧证。申报补领新证的，原证作废。
